Organizational development
A history of abundance
For some reason, my career has been one miracle after another of grants received, projects funded, and the "problems" of having more money than our teams could comfortably spend or give away. In every job position I've ever had, I've added a "0" to the sum of money I was responsible for managing or accounting for -- from tens of thousands in college, to hundreds of thousands of dollars as a fresh college grad, to millions, to tens of millions, to hundreds of millions, and even billions.
Organizational development, sudden growth, and designing change
As a result of this abundance of funding, I'm very familiar with sudden growth spurts within organizations. I can show you how to navigate the shifting terrain of your organization or project. I've been on the ground, bringing in new people, welcoming them into the organizational culture, developing or improving policies and procedures, upgrading physical and IT infrastructure, improving accounting systems and auditing functions, increasing the capacity of staff, cultivating new leaders, and soothing the emotional turmoil of change, growth, and organizational transformation. I've also been a part of designing or re-designing organizations, at the local and state levels, nationally, and internationally.
My training
My training in Organizational Development includes a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Washington's Evans School of Public Policy and Administration -- ranked 2nd nationally for non-profit management when I entered the program, according to the US News and World Report's ranking of graduate programs. I also completed the University of Washington's Strategic Leadership Program, UW's Grants Administration training, the Gates Foundation's full series of courses for Program Officers on grants management and project management, and underwent additional training at the Project Management Academy for PMP certification.
Can you help my organization get more grant money or help me grow my business?
Yes, if it's in karmic alignment for me to do so. Rest assured, I will measure first whether it's in alignment for me to help your organization or company, and if I cannot, I will let you know before money changes hands. For more information, please see my blog post, "What is karmic alignment?"

Provided that it is in karmic alignment to improve the income status of the company or organization, we could do healing work on organizational abundance in the following ways:
- A personal, individual session for the person responsible for the financial health of the organization, requested by that person. This could be the CEO, Executive Director, Director of Development, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), President, Vice President, or Board Member. It could also be a staffer or assistant whose job it is to see to such things.
- A phone session on the organization itself. A consultation with the person responsible for the financial health of the organization via phone or Skype where we discuss the situation and I measure whether its in karmic alignment for me to assist and intervene. If I get the green light to go ahead, I would do a remote energy session addressing the financial issues of the organization, spiritually aligning the organization's finances with its mission, vision, and values.
- An in-person organizational session as a 1 or 2 hour intensive. Depending on your organizational culture, you could invite me to come to a team retreat or other event as a speaker and energy fix-it person. I would speak briefly about what I do, solicit input from the audience, obtain permission to address the energy of how the group comes together (and allow those who don't wish to participate to step out or mentally opt-out), then do a group healing on the organization and its employees, describing to the audience what I see, as well as what is happening. I am available in the Seattle area, and am travel nationally and internationally.
- An in-depth, in person, organizational analysis, and consultation -- I'd provide a full analysis of organizational strengths, weaknesses, over-all financial prospects, status of the organization's "money magic." I would do a deep-dive into interviewing all staff (if your organization is small), or a wide cross section of staff (if your organization is large), reading any relevant reports, project updates, contracts, financial statements, and/or grant agreements, I have experience leading site visit meetings, reviewing the progress of complex multi-country, multi-continent institutions and projects, and have served as an internal consultant and analyst. This could take several days (depending on the size and scope of what you are asking for). I would provide a "real world nuts and bolts" analysis of your systems, policies, project progress, what's working, and areas for improvement. And, if you are interested, I would also offer my services as an organizational healer to do individual or group sessions with one or more people, or one or more groups. This is the best option if your organization is in a complex situation and you are not sure how to proceed.
